Kenny Rogers

A lawyer by trade, Grant loved to sing karaoke, but really did not do a lot of Kenny Rogers tunes….rather he loved the old Do-Wop stuff from the ‘50’s Del Shannon, Dion and the Belmonts, Sonny James etc..until a local agent spied him in a local pub and asked…."anyone ever tell you you look like Kenny Rogers?" That was March of 2007.

So Grant went ahead and grew the beard, bought the cowboy hat…and went to work at reproducing that unique sound that is unquestionably Kenny….and it was not an easy task duplicating the sound that has sold over 100 million records world-wide…but a little perseverance and a lot of hard work began to pay off! Not only does Grant have the ‘Kenny’ look …but now folks marvel at how closely Grant’s vocals resemble those of the gravel-voiced crooner from Houston, Texas.
