The
UK's Original FEMALE Elvis performer, the look, the voice.....
Janny first started performing on stage, at the age of
4, writing her own songs and playing guitar, also, including impressions
of Chuck Berry, Michael Jackson, Jimmy Osmond and of course Elvis
Presley. Singing from an early age was a great grounding for the
shows she performs now and singing live has always been the best feeling
in the world for her.
After becoming a flat-racing jockey and riding a few
winners, Janny decided to return to her Elvis tribute but this
time, it would be as near perfect as it could get, with a jumpsuit made
by B K Enterprises, USA and 2 years of practice, straining her voice
until she couldn't speak at times, to stretch the vocal chords for that
deep sound.
It paid off, when she was invited to go to E.P.I.I.A.
Sheraton hotel, in Chicago, as the only female performer there. What a
great bunch of Elvis tributes she found..... Janny was welcomed into
the fold and found herself jamming on guitar till late in the night.
She met up with Charlie Hodge and D J Fontana who joined her on stage
for her performances. It was a real pleasure for Janny and she returned again
the following year. Then she had decided that American audiences were
the best and really enjoyed Elvis' music.
Two years later, Janny performed at the Legends in Concert venue,
Imperial Palace, Las Vegas, which was terrific for her. The year before she
had been at the Hacienda Hotel, Las Vegas, backed by Jerome Marionne's
Expense Account Band, an awesome group of professional musicians.

In the UK, she has performed on primetime TV, National Lottery Show, Elvis
Festival for the fan club, and even London's West End, Talk of London venue,
Drury Lane, the heart of Theatre land.
Janny has been accused of miming to Elvis 3 times in her career, when
singing totally live and she was flattered by the reactions she received
from the people in the audience. Her hard work has paid off and she must be
hitting the right notes
Patty Carroll's Elvis Tribute book features many great
performers and Janny was fortunate to be included in the
project. World famous photographer, David Bailey also has a book coming
out which she did a photo shoot for and an exhibition in London

"My connection with Elvis has always been on a human level, I respect him
for becoming the greatest of performers and having the talent and using it,
sharing it with the rest of the world, being a warm and caring person and
never forgetting where he came from and how far he had come.
These days I am in full flight and have concerts up and down the UK, being a
perfectionist and my own critic, keeps me on the ball, I would love to come
back out to the USA, to perform and to meet up again with the many great
performers I have come to know.
I have a new DVD coming out within the next month, and I am available for
TV, media, live shows for all occasions.
