Born on the small island of Malta in Europe Manuel has spent most of his life in the San Francisco Bay area. He came to this country when he was six years old.  Some similarities to Elvis was that he was a buck sergeant in Germany at  21 in a tank unit.  Manny loved Elvis as a kid growing up, and had a great respect for the power and versatility in his voice.  The most important feelings Manuel has is when he sings for an audience and sees them smile and enjoy themselves,

Manuel started singing  four years ago and went right into the Elvis singing.  He started in karaoke and the DJ let him sing three Elvis songs.

Then he decided he wanted to try Elvis impersonation and had an American Eagle jumpsuit sewn for himself, very basic.  Manuel designed two jumpsuits. The American Eagle and a black one with the Maltese Cross on it. He hand painted and installed all the rhinestones, stars, etc by  hand. Over 300 hours of tedious work.  The belt alone on the black suit  took over 40 hours. 

 One of his biggest supporters,  has been his teenage daughter Katerina , who has had the patience to take multiple videos of her Dad's performances, and to generate that proud look on her face for  him! 

The suit above and the one below are original designs of Manny's.  Not only is Manny a talented performer but a talented designer of his own suits. If Elvis were alive to day we are sure he would have loved Manny's designs.
