Coming from this era of rock/rock-a-billy /country and
blues music has made a major influence on Bill's musical career.
Bill has always held to his roots of the "raw but
magical time of the golden years of music", as he puts it.

|
He states however, the most
exciting experience of his career came in 1994, Tony Orlando contracted
him to portray Roy Orbison in his highly acclaimed musical "Juke Box
Dream" at his 2000 seat Yellow Ribbon theater in Branson ,Missouri.

The show also toured exciting venues such as, Las
Vegas, NV, Atlantic City, NJ, Westbury Music Fair Lake Tahoe, NV and many
other cities. It was an experience of a lifetime.

Born in Miami, Oklahoma, Bill
spent his early years studying art, later to attain a Bachelor of
fine Arts degree from Oklahoma State University. Then Bill says he
was on to a two year stint in the Marines where a talent contest at
Camp Pendleton, CA and that sparked a turn in his life, he would now
pursue the stage as well as the studio.
I really became aware of
music in the mid fifties says Bill Holden, Oklahoma vocalist and
musician. When music was innovative, honest and pure. It was a time
of legends that inspired me to enter the field, such as Elvis, Buddy
Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Ricky Nelson, and of course the
late great Roy Orbison, just to name a few.
