Welcome  from Hurst, Texas

    Gregg Moon

Elvis contest Granberry

Gregg Moon was born in the summer of 1963 in Fort Worth Texas.  All through his growing up years he was raised on Elvis, among other music artists ,but mainly Elvis through his movies and his music.  Gregg's mother, Donna was a huge fan of Elvis's.

In July 18 1976 Gregg's parents took him to see his first Elvis concert at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth Texas. What a great night to remember for young Gregg to cherish , as a lasting memory and to be able to hand that memory down to his kids and grandkids in life.

Gregg and his family enjoyed the concert so much that when they heard in 1977 that Elvis was appearing again in their area they were making arrangements to see him again. Little did Gregg and his family know that they would soon find out that day would never come.

In June of 2004,Gregg went to a fest and hot rod show.....where he watched and Elvis impersonator by the name of Carlton Hurtle. When Gregg realized that a 2nd calling had grasped his heart..... to become an Elvis Impersonator. It is something he wanted to pursue...so he bought a jumpsuit and all the accessories it took to pursue a new craft.....  paying tribute to the King Of Rock and Roll.

In the true Elvis spirit, Gregg and his wife Patricia renewed their vows in the "A Elvis Chapel" in Vegas.  It was the first time the Elvis Chapel had  a groom dressed as Elvis.  It created a great deal of excitement which lead to Gregg spending two hours just signing autographs and having their pictures taken back at their Hotel.

Gregg has performed for several family and friend's functions and competed April 9 2005 in the South Central Elvis Impersonators Competition and Spring Fest in Monroe, Louisiana. He has performed in several clubs in the area also.

Gregg donates a lot of his time to the Fort Worth Children's Hospital and various nursing homes, performing and signing autographs to his fans.

Gregg is a new Tribute artist who has already made many friends on his journey and made new fans. Yet he has never lost the reality of what life really is and the great things he has achieved along the way, and with the new goals to achieve in the future.

Gregg realizes the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley still lives on in the people's hearts, minds and souls!

When Gregg was in the 9th grade at Smithfield Junior High School in Smithfield Texas he entered a school talent contest. Gregg had his moment in front of the crowd that evening ,which earned him 3rd place.

In 1987,Gregg joined the Army where he served 4 1/2 years active duty including the Gulf War. When Gregg returned to the states in July 1991,he pursued his military career in the Army National Guard. Gregg ended his military career as an -E5 after 11 years total service to his country.

One of Gregg's many appearances at local nursing homes

Gregg has been fortunate to have as a family friend Johnny Hara ,a Texas based ETA.  Along with meeting and knowing Donny Edwards, who performs regularly in Vegas; Darlene Thompson (one of Elvis movie co stars) Harvey McFadden and Carlton Hurtle both Texas based ETA's . The list goes on of all the Elvis Tribute artists that are keeping the memory of Elvis alive.
